SALVUS is launching a series of training seminars to support all individuals preparing for the CySEC Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Certification. The preparation course is addressed to professionals
– who are appointed as the AML compliance officers at CySEC regulated entities.
– who are interested in being appointed as AML compliance officers at CySEC regulated entities.
– looking to enhance their knowledge and acquire a total of 15 units for their Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Preparation schedule will be split over 3 separate sessions in 3 separate days, as follows:

Day 1
– The introductory provisions, Abbreviations and Definitions
– Understanding money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions
– Legal and regulatory requirements
– The AML compliance culture
– Each chapter will be followed by Q&As and sample questions for the exams

Day 2:
– Assessing and managing risks
– Know your customer (KYC) and customer due diligence (CDD)
– Transaction monitoring and suspicious reporting
– Each chapter will be followed by Q&As and sample questions for the exams

Day 3
– Recap of the delivered material
– Compact notes and summary tables will be provided
– 2 Mock-up exams

The examination will certify that the appointed AML compliance officers has been properly trained, has the necessary knowledge and is able to fulfil their assigned duties with competence. The successful candidates will be registered in the AML Compliance Officers Register.

All participants will receive the presentation notes, the revision questions with their answers, along with two mock-up exams.
