Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) requests early submission of the FBSF-CIF form, while it has released an updated form, version 3. The Cyprus Investment Firms (CIFs) are requested to submit this form electronically, the latest by 15:00 on Tuesday, 31st of March, 2020, instead of July.

The Form must be completed and successfully submitted to CySEC by all CIFs that were authorised by December 31, 2019, including the firms that have not made use of their authorization. These changes enhance reporting in identifying money laundering or terrorism financing.

There will be no extension to the deadline. Any CIF that will not comply, will have to bear administrative penalties as of section 37(5) of the Law.
